Midfielder Oliver Risser has said he is disappointed we didn't take all three points from the Exeter game, and he thinks we are well placed to pull clear of the relegation zone.
Speaking to BBC Surrey following the game and his full debut the 34 year old said he thought we were worthy of all three points in the game, but more importantly he thinks the foundations are in place for us to push up the table and get away from the relegation zone in the games to come.
'Asa Hall only joined last week, myself it was my full debut, a lot of mechanisms still have to grip, but the signs were very promising. It's a good step forward. We thought before a point would be good, but we could have nicked it. It as quite a decent performance from the whole team and we'll take it from there.'
Risser continues to say that the spirit in the camp is good and confidence is high in terms of us believing we can pull away and build a buffer of comfort between ourselves and the drop zone and whilst all eyes are on what he calls a six pointer against Plymouth, he says we can't put too much pressure on ourselves, but also, he hopes he's done enough to gain another start and figure in Holdsworth's plans.
