'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Holdsworth Disappointed With Shock Defeat

Dean Holdsworth has spoken following our shock defeat to Morecambe, saying he thought we looked comfortable and strong before they scored.

Speaking to the Official Site the gaffer said.

'I am really disappointed because we looked comfortable and strong before they scored. It comes back to the fact you can't let set pieces cost you, you can't do that.'

Holdsworth is clearly angry about the manner of the defeat, saying he has spoken to the players and taken his share of the blame because it's down to him to make the right selections and be professional enough to drop people who aren't performing as he wants them to.

He adds that he is active, as tonight has shown, in trying to freshen the squad up so we can address our failings at the moment.

'We are all hurting, we thank the fans for traveling to watch us.'
