Two Points Dropped Against Gills
Andy Scott has said the 1-1 draw with Gillingham today feels like we lost two points.
Speaking to reporters after the draw, he said he felt that our performance deserved all three points, but he was delighted with the character of the squad once again.
'We're just disappointed that we've only got a point and to say that against the league leaders, shows exactly the mentality in the squad at the moment. That's exactly what we're trying to harness.'
Scott adds that he thought we were defensively fantastic in the first half, but needed to improve our link up play offensively because we were too sloppy and probably too rushed in our approach, but he knows he's nit picking rather than pointing out major flaws, so that in itself pleases him.
'After three games we're nit picking about throw ins and things like that, I would have settled for that from the first day I walked through the door.'
