'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Scott's Initial Burton Reaction

Andy Scott has said he felt we were unfortunate to lose tonight's game against Burton Albion.

Speaking to the Official Site giving his immediate reaction to the 2-1 loss, our manager said.

'First 20 minutes we were on top and looking really comfortable and at times just took our foot off the gas and when you do that you give the opposition a bit of momentum.'

When we did we obviously paid for it, and with him adding that in the first 20 we were as comfortable as we have been since he arrived, he'll obviously be looking at commitment, determination and focus when he speaks to the team in training.

Winger Lionel Ainsworth added that he felt we were the side that should've won the game, but we failed to take our early chances.

'I thought we were unlucky not to get three points from the way we started. We took our foot off the gas and let them back into the match, which is frustrating.'

He says having taken the lead, he's gutted that we ended the match as losers because it's hard to take.
