AFC Wimbledon collected a third successive win with a win at Aldershot on Saturday afternoon to give their League Two survival hopes another massive boost.
Aldershot had the better of the first half chances with John Sullivan saving well and in the second half he also had to tip a Lionel Ainsworth effort onto the post to keep the scores level.
Having been on the back foot for a large chunk of the game Wimbledon made that decisive breakthrough with a little under 20-minutes to go Jack Midson (72) chipped in a fine goal to give The Dons a 1-0 win.
